MBA ACADEMICS
Our recruiters tell us the most valuable skill for any new MBA graduate to possess is the ability to solve problems.
It just so happens we agree. We have built our entire curriculum around developing leaders with strong problem-solving skills. We prepare our students to solve not just any problem, but the toughest problems of business.
Solving tough problems requires a leader to be both expansive and methodical in his or her thought processes, and both inspired and grounded in the search for a solution.
We believe there are four dimensions that prepare a leader to solve tough problems:
An integrated mind: with a balanced mastery of all functional areas of business and able to discern the implications of a problem—and its solution—organization wide
Broad perspective: with eyes open to the complexities of business in our communities both at home and globally
Heart: an understanding of how one’s values guide their actions and ethical decision making
Tenacity: the role of communication, motivation and mobilization in bringing a solution to life
