Research Interests
My current research deals with the holomorphic extension of CR functions from real hypersurfaces with singularities. It is well known that the only obstruction to the local holomorphic extension of CR functions from smooth hypersurfaces is non-minimality ( presence of a complex analytic hypersurface inside the real hypersurface.) With Rasul Shafikov, we have shown that minimality is not a sufficient condition for the extendability of CR functions from such hypersurfaces. In forthcoming work, we will show that minimality is not a necessary condition for such extension. In particular, we construct examples of singular hypersurfaces from which every smooth CR function extends holomorphically.
