The JEOL GCMate offers high throughput
GC/MS analysis via EI and CI modes of ionizaiton. A 100 position autosampler is fitted to the
HP 6890 GC. This benchtop magnetic sector instrument has a mass range of 1000 Daltons at an
accelerating voltage of 2.5 kV, and an ultimate resolution of 5,000. A direct insertion probe
is availabe for EI, CI, and FAB modes of ionization. The data system consists of
"The Shrader System" software running on a Dell PC.
