Knights of the Immaculata

Many Children of Mary are also members of the KNIGHTS OF THE IMMACULATA which is a student organization at Notre Dame/Saint Mary's.  This group is part of the international organization devoted to the intellectual pursuit for greater union with Christ through Mary.  We meet every Sunday at 4:30 in LaFortune to study great works such as Redemptoris Mater, an encyclical by Pope John Paul II, True Devotion to Mary, an awesome book by St. Louis de Montfort, or St. Francis de Sales'sIntroduction to the Devout Life.  The goal of the group is to make a “Consecration of oneself to Jesus Christ, Wisdom incarnate, through the Hands of Mary” according to St. Louis de Montfort.  Don't worry if you have never been to a meeting before, or if you don't have a chance to read the material that we will be discussing; because we are discussing something which is natural to all Catholics--devotion to Our Blessed Mother. Call Monica Mata (634-2872) or email her at smata@nd.edu if you would like more information.
