April 23-25, 2010

St. Joseph Lake at Notre Dame

Lodging

The speakers and approximately 50 other participants will stay at the Ivy Court (which will be paid with conference funds). The others need to find their own accommodation. We will reimburse graduate students and young mathematicians for up to $50 per night. Since there will be a football game during the same weekend we encourage participants to book their own accommodation as soon as possible. We suggest to graduate students to share a room and share rides to the conference. We hope to be able to reimburse graduate students for travel expenses.

Students at Purdue booked their own hotel rooms by using an online bidding service. Here is the information that we received from them and we are passing it along to all of you. In particular, we would like to thank Kuei-Nuan Lin for all the details. Please visit the website

and input South Bend, IN, the dates of the conference, and the number of rooms you are seeking. You will be given several zone options. Choose zone 2, the closest to the University. Using this option Purdue students found rooms at the Marriott for $50 (The price does not include fees and taxes.)

Previous personal experience might have taught you that online bidding for hotel rooms might be a tricky business! If you want to know which prices you should try first, please visit the website
