Overview

Our simulation model, LiNK, began as a course project and has evolved into a interdisciplinary research collaboration that encompasses a component of 2 dissertations. By efficiently utilizing geographic information system data data through an Agent-based simulation, we have created a simulation model of pathogen transmission among macaques on Bali, Indonesia. We specifically study the effects of landscape on host and parasite dynamics.
