Lodge lab undergraduate researcher Cong (Charles) Xu has been accepted to study abroad at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) for the 2012-2013 academic year. He will be the first Notre Dame undergraduate to study abroad in Hong Kong for a full year. While there he will be conducting research in Dr. Ka Hou Chu's marine biology laboratory located within the Simon F.S. Lee Marine Science Laboratory. He will be researching decapod crustacean phylogeny, phylogeography of marine invertebrates, and the genetic diversity of local freshwater fauna.
