I received my Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1996 from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana, at which time I was awarded the Robert B. Stewart award for outstanding graduating student for the class of 1996.  I received my Master's and Ph.D. degrees  in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1998 and 2001, both under the direction of Dr. Robert L. Stevenson.  While studying at Notre Dame, I was supported by the Arthur J. Schmitt Fellowship, the Intel Corporation, and the Indiana Space Grant Consortium.   After graduating from Notre Dame, I accepted a position as Research Engineer at the the U.S. Air Force Research Labs, in Rome, NY, where I am currently employed.  My current research interests include image and video communication, image and video restoration, and high-quality electronic imaging.

A number of my publications are available on-line in both postscript and pdf formats.  For a more general (and less technical) description of my work, follow the "Research" link in the frame to the left or in the section at the bottom of this page.
