Our Car: FEAR IT!

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
*Didn't destroy too many parts
*Attached servo to shifting mechanism
*Bought materials for building racetrack
*We would have built the darn thing if it weren't for the rain
*Fully automated a demo run of the car, testing shifting ability
*Visibly and measureably faster in each successive gear
*Can start out in second but takes much longer to accelerate
*Cannot reach optimum speed when starting out in third gear
*Decided to incorporate hills into racetrack (to make transmission absolutely necessary)
*Built 2 new motor drivers to pass more current
*Ousted Chris from the group?!
*Built a simple car to test against our prototype (well, almost)
*We haven't raced them yet, so don't ask which won
*Modified power train to increase speed in third gear
*Strangely enough, to do this, we had to gear the whole thing down
*Much more, but we lost the log book

CONCERNS
*Braking is trivial, so it may be removed from rules
*Weather stopped us from building the racetrack. Hopefully this won't be repeated.
*Power tools in Chris's hands
