How to Solder Wires

1. Split the wires. Be careful not to expose the wires themselves.
2. Strip about 1/4 inch of the end of the wire using wire strippers.
3. Wrap the wire around the connection that is to be soldered together.
4. Place the soldering wire on the connection and touch the hot iron to this area. Be sure that the solder melts onto the connection rather than forming a bubble above the connection.
