Non-technical Objectives

• The development of problem solving skills is a very important lesson.

• Creativity is necessary for both design and problem solving.

• Recognizing the value of others ideas. Our projected is a tangible example of all of our ideas put together.

• Public speaking experience has helped develope communication skill.

Technical Objectives

Gear ratios and power transfer
• Gain and understanding of these concepts.
• Be able to see them physically implemented.
• A small introduction to mechanical engineering.

Programming and computer skills
• Gain some general computer experience.
• Introduced to C programming.
• Gain an understanding of control systems through experience with the control board.
• An introduction to parts of Electrical engineering and computer science and engineering.

Structural stability

• This was one of our biggest problems. We gained a lot of hands of experience in structural stability.
• Civil and mechanical engineers are both concerned with this topic.

How a transmissions work.

• Piece together many concepts and combine them to create the greater idea of a transmission.
