A special shout-out to the Irish women’s tennis team who claimed their fifth straight Big East conference title over USF during the Big East Conference Championships!  Men’s tennis captured a third place finish at the Big East Conference Championship after a tough loss to USF in the semifinals.

Another champion’s shout out to Freshman Ashley Armstrong of the Irish women’s golf team who won the Big East Championship.  The Irish women’s team came up one stroke short for the team championship, taking second in the conference championship to USF.

After the first day of the Big East Men’s Golf Championship, the Irish men’s team was leading the tournament.  The Irish look to maintain this lead through May 1st and bring home the title.

Men’s and Women’s Track & Field, and Women’s Rowing also are full-gear into their seasons.  Spring never has a dull moment for Irish Athletics.  Go Irish!
