Social bookmarking allows users to tag, save, manage and share web page bookmarks at a centralized location. There are various services with similar capabilities; Delicious is one of the most popular.
Use in teaching & learning
Professors can create dynamic lists of links for courses. Students can contribute or create their own list for a project. One way to share Delicious bookmarks is to create a linkroll and embed it into a page on a website or in Concourse.
