Course website

This can be created in a variety of different ways, depending on course requirements, privacy concerns, level of instructor involvement, and other factors. Below are a few options; ask us for help making the right choice.

  • Course management system (Concourse)
  • High-end traditional site (Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.)
  • Do-it-yourself with a template (MS Publisher or Apple iWeb)
  • Other: Wiki | Blog | Google Sites

Use in teaching & learning

Course websites are used for posting handouts, announcements, links to websites of interest, images, and other items. Concourse sites offer sophisticated tools and are restricted to your students.

NotreDame info

Notre Dame provides server space for personal and departmental websites. It also creates a Concourse space for all sections of every course, each semester. A restricted website for a class can also be created in the Courseware space.
