Lead-ND volunteers work once per week with nontraditional youth leaders (grades 7-8) in the South Bend community. The afterschool program focuses on interactive leadership development and service to community. If you'd like to influence tradtionally underresourced youth through mentorship, leadership games, and field trips, please consider applying to Lead-ND. Our website includes past volunteer experiences, as well as applicant information and application forms.

10/18/2006 - Lead-ND Nationally Recognized
Lead-ND volunteers and supporters were recognized Monday night at Campus Compact's 20th Anniversary Gala in Chicago for their innovative approach to university-community partnership.  Distinguished guests at the event included former First Lady Rosalyn Carter and the former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson.  The recognition included a cash gift of $1,500, all of which will support Lead-ND's four program sites.  For more information, see www.campuscompact.org/20th.
