State Court Clerkships - Marketable Experience that Opens Doors

Justice Sheila O'Brien, Illinois Court of Appeals, will discuss the advantages of a state judicial clerkships and the state court hiring process. Some courts are still hiring for 2010!

Work with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office -- summer or full time

Murray, Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles, will provide a brief description of the work in the office, what entry-level attorneys do, what summer clerks do, and how you could get a job there or at another district attorney's office. Discussion will include: classes that are particularly helpful, and experience that is helpful, plus other insights and suggestions.
