Prof. Gurule on US & Intl. Death Penalty Policy & Legal Issues (and CADP Elections)

We will begin with elections for next year's officers, then Professor Jimmy Gurule, criminal and international law and terrorism expert and former Federal Prosecutor and U.S. Ass't Attorney General, will speak on the policy and legal and economic implications of the death penalty. He will focus on the political considerations of the our legal system, justification theories, international standards, economic considerations, and human fallibility.
