International Criminal Court - former law clerk to speak

Chante Lasco clerked in the ICC's Office of the Prosecutor in the Legal Advisory Section in 2005. She earned her J.D. in American University's Washington College of Law as well as an M.A. in International Affairs as part of a dual J.D./M.A. program at American. While in law school, she was a student attorney in the International Human Rights Clinic and completed many human rights-related internships, including ones at the ICTR, the U.S. Institute of Peace and the Violence Against Women section of the American Prosecutors Research Institute. Chante will discuss her experience pursuing a career in international human rights.

ND Law Screens Oscar Award Winning Film "Taxi to the Dark Side"

The Center for Civil and Human Rights at Notre Dame Law School will screen the Oscar Award-winning documentary "Taxi to the Dark Side" on Thursday, March 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Annenberg Auditorium of the Snite Museum of Art. A panel discussion follows the screening.
The panel discussion begins at 8:30 p.m., and will include comments from former Army intelligence interrogator Peter Bauer; an attorney and one of the film’s producers Donald Glascoff; and documentary filmmaker and Notre Dame Professor Jill Godmilow. Cassel will moderate the panel.
