HALL gOVERNMENT


        Each undergraduate residence hall at the University of

Notre Dame possesses a nearly-autonomous student

government. Excluding the Assistant Rector that acts as the

Knott Hall Treasurer, the Knott Hall Government is composed

entirely of Knott Hall residents.

        The primary objective of the Knott Hall Government is to

improve residential life in Knott Hall. In order to accomplish

this objective, the Knott Hall Government organizes and

orchestrates academic, athletic, in-hall, multicultural,

service, social, and spiritual events for the residents of

Knott Hall.

        The Knott Hall Government also strives to accurately

represent the interests of the residents of Knott Hall and

thoroughly inform them about campus-wide news, events, and

activities.

        ALL HALL GOVERNMENT MEETINGS WILL OCCUR ON THE FIRST

FLOOR OF KNOTT HALL WITHIN THE CHAPEL LOUNGE. THE PRESIDENT

OF KNOTT HALL WILL PRESIDE AT ALL KNOTT HALL GOVERNMENT

MEETINGS.

        Standard office hours enable the president of knott hall

to meet with residents and nonresidents about ideas,

questions, comments, and concerns regarding Knott hall.The

President of Knott Hall will BE IN THE KNOTT HALL GOVERNMENT

OFFICE during office hours. The KNOTT HALL GOVERNMENT OFFICE

IS located ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF KNOTT HALL DIRECTLY ACROSS

FROM THE ELEVATOR.
