Fall 1994 Director, London MBA Program in London: Responsible for hiring instructors, counseling students, managing program resources and organizing instructional field trips and guest speakers series. 

 

1990- 97 Associate Professor with Tenure, Department of Management, University of Notre Dame.

 

1990-92 Acting Chairman, Department of Management, University of Notre Dame.  Chaired a department of 25 tenure-track faculty divided evenly between the organizational sciences function and the operations management with MIS function.  Responsible for developing a budget for the department, recruiting faculty, scheduling of instructors and courses and the evaluation of faculty (including promotion and tenure) .

1984-90 Assistant Professor, Department of Management, University of Notre Dame.  Responsible for teaching and counseling MIS students.

 

1982-84 Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, University of Notre Dame.  Responsible for teaching and counseling industrial engineering students.  Courses taught included:  Engineering Concepts, Engineering Economy, Probabilities and Statistics, Industrial Production Systems and Operations Research.

 

1979-82 Teaching Assistant, Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, University of Notre Dame.  Responsible for teaching an Engineering Concepts course to 44 students.

 

1980-81 Research Assistant, Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, University of Notre Dame.  Involved in the development of a simulation program for the Urban Mass Transportation Association.

 

1979 Consultant/Programmer, Notre Dame Computing Center, University of Notre Dame. Assisted students and faculty in the development and debugging of their computer programs.  Also was involved in writing utility programs for the center.

 

 

NOTABLE CONTRIBUTIONS IN 2000 - 2001:

 

C $150,000 grant from PwC for e-commerce in the undergraduate program with Tom Schaefer and other CBA faculty.

 

C                     Designed and implemented the e-commerce track in the MBA program (http://www.mis.nd.edu/MBA-ecommerce) .

 

C e-commerce lecture series coordinator for MBAs and undergraduates.
