Blogs for Teaching

Description:

This workshop is designed to get faculty and grad students started using blogs; it is a follow-up to "Introduction to Blogs and Wikis." Participants will set up a Blogger account, create a blog and enter an introductory message. They will also learn how to make the blog private and invite students to participate.

After completing this workshop, participants will be able to

  • Create a new blog
  • Adjust privacy settngs and invite members
  • Add a posting to a blog

What to Bring:

You will need a Google account (create an account now)
If you have an idea for a blog, try to think of a name for it.
