Writing Effective CVs and Resumes

Description:

This workshop outlines the differences between resumes and CVs and considers what is most important when arranging each in job applications. The first part of the workshop will be a brief overview of the curriculum vitae with some examples. The second part will be a hands-on opportunity for students who have resume and CV drafts and would like the opportunity to have them reviewed by peers, Career Center staff, and/or faculty.

  • Understand the differences between a CV and a resume
  • Know how to tailor both CVs and resumes to meet specific goals

Copies of your own resume or CV, if you’d like to have them reviewed.
