This popular workshop has been completely re-designed, featuring a four-step planning model and hands-on learning with variety of technology tools. Participants in this fast-paced event learn a practical activity planning process that starts with identifying learning goals and ends with technology selection. Working in a computer lab, each person completes a series of activities using a different tools. Participants leave with an activity plan that includes technology tools thoughtfully selected to help students reach identified learning goals. They also formulate a plan to learn how to use a tool.

Learning Goals:

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to do the following in connection with a specific course:

  • Follow a 7-step process for course planning
  • Articulate goals for student learning in a course
  • List strategies to help reach the goals
  • Identify technologies that may help carry out the strategies
