Interviewing for the Academic Job Market

Description:

This workshop is devoted to the interviewing process for academic jobs. Tips for a good interview will be presented, and faculty from various departments will provide general advice and recommendations based on their own experiences. While the general interviewing process will be discussed, there will be time for individual questions and concerns, either in an open-forum or one-on-one format.

  • Be informed of what prospective interviewers look for.
  • Know effective techniques and what to expect for on-site interviews.
