Designing Grading Rubrics
|
Description: |
Creating a grading rubric is one strategy for making criteria and standards clearer to both faculty and students in order to achieve better student work. Regular use of grading rubrics can also help instructors ask better (and easier to grade) questions, speed up the grading process and help students understand the expectations for each assignment. This interactive workshop is designed to motivate you to believe that rubrics can help both you and your students, teach you the components of grading rubrics, and assist you with constructing your own rubrics.
