The Adventure Maker is a neat little program that I make that lets you create choose your own adventures. It is far more powerful than a simple stack of cards, however. With the new LingoScript Programming language, you can get the users name, ask trivia questions, trade, keep track of inventory, etc. If you right-click on one of the buttons on a card, a menu pops up that lets you change the buttons style (bold, italic, etc), it's caption (from a list that you can edit), and change it's action to a common one (like go to a card, quit, etc).
Using sounds is incredibly easy in the Adventure Maker. For a buttons action, you can simply type this: PlayMidi C:\windows\canyon.mid. It will then play the midi file "canyon.mid" If you tell it to, it can also stop playing it after x seconds.
The Adventure Maker comes with two games, planets 2, and the potato game. They are simple games that show you what the Adventure Maker can do.
