Jones currently instructs pitchers at his pitching school in St. Louis and travels around the Midwest conducting seminars and clinics for women fast pitch pitchers.
He teaches sound fundamentals and a variety of pitches. He is equally adept with beginning and advanced pitchers, and will be working with pitchers on a one-on-one basis. Members of the Notre Dame women's softball team will also be present to demonstrate techniques and to serve as counselors.

Liz Miller

Liz Miller is in her fourth year as the Irish softball head coach. However, Miller is no stranger to softball or women's athletics, as she started the women's athletic program at Lake Michigan Community College in Benton Harbor, MI. From 1974-1991, Miller performed a variety of jobs, including serving as one of the first women's athletics directors for both the men's and women's programs in the state of Michigan. She also assumed the duties of volleyball and basketball coach for many years, remaining softball coach until 1991. In 17 years at LMC, Miller's teams were 1047-331, including an outstanding 547-143 softball record. Her teams qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association tournament 10 times.
In Miller's third year as the head coach at Notre Dame, the Irish won the Midwestern Collegiate Conference Championship. They lost in the finals of the NCAA regionals with a final national ranking of 19. Miller was named the 1995 Mideast Region coach of the year.
