Director, Chris Petrucelli
When Notre Dame women's soccer coach Chris Petrucelli accepted his position six and a half years ago, he
knew building a program would take time. His timeline for success included upgrading the schedule, providing
opportunities to young talent and, eventually, contending for a national championship.
In 1994, Petrucelli saw his program begin to reap the benefits of hard work.
His career at Notre Dame features a 107-16-8 record while leading the Irish to the NCAA championship game in
1994 and a final national ranking of number one. In 1995, he guided the Irish to a national championship highlighted
by a 1-0 semifinal win over UNC and a 1-0 win over Portland in the finals.
Also, under his guidance the Fighting Irish program produced five All-Americans Jen Renola, Cindy Daws, Holly
Manthei, Rosella Guerrero and Kate Sobrero. In 1995, Renola, Manthei and Sobrero were named for the second season
to the All-America teams.
ÒBecause of the academic reputation of the University and the talented players who have already chosen Notre Dame,
we feel we will continue to compete at the highest level," Petrucelli says.

Soccer Coaches' Association's All-America team for the second year in a row.

Ontario Provincial team from 1986-87. She is a 1985 graduate of the Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute. Prior to
coming to Notre Dame, Chin spent the 1991 and '92 campaigns as an assistant coach at Cornell. Before her stint at
Cornell, Chin also served as an assistant at Florida International University.

Southern California. Jarc was a four-time monogram winner and a 3-year starter for the Fighting Irish between the
