EducationB.S., University of Notre Dame, 2006. Research SummaryI recently completed Signals and Systems II (EE 354). I have begun to really appreciate wireless communications. Currently I am doing SDR research under Dr. Laneman. The main programming languages we are using are Python and C++, which are the core elements of GNU Radio. So far, along with two other undergraduates, I have produced a stereo FM receiver, which has a nice Graphical User Interface (GUI). We also have successfully received signals from a Berkeley mote. After graduation I plan to continue working with wireless systems as a graduate student or an employee. |
