Tutoring in the Math Library

Tutoring sessions will be available in the Mathematics Library starting Sunday, Jan. 18. The Math Library is located in the basement of Hayes-Healy.

Mathematics tutors will be available Sundays thru Thursdays from 7pm to 11pm.

Tutors are available to help *any* undergraduate or graduate student who's having trouble with mathematics.

Tutoring can be scheduled for an individual or a small group for half-hour sessions. Interested students can sign up at the Mathematics Library homepage to schedule a time. If a session is arranged in advance there will be a better chance of getting help when needed.

When scheduling, students will be asked to provide their name and the name of their class. They should explain briefly what area they need help with, and they should bring their textbook with them to the session. Specifics will give the tutor time to prepare in advance of the session.

The tutors will also try to accommodate drop-in students.

The tutors are available to help with assignments or questions, not to do homework or repeat lectures that a student missed.

Please send any feedback about the service to your instructor or to Dr. Parker Ladwig (ladwig.1@nd.edu), the main librarian in the Math Library.
