My name is Jason Mayes and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, in South Bend, Indiana. I also received my B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2003.

I am currently working with Dr. Mihir Sen. Our research interests include complex thermal systems, fractional calculus applications in engineering, and self-similar and fractal-like systems.
