Winter 2007

William
really enjoys his indoor playground while outside the winter finally gets a
move on in late January.

He
also likes riding his “bike” with “bebe” aboard.

And helping to fix things. We installed a dishwasher,
which lead to a real lifestyle change. The only problem
was that we didn’t have anywhere to put pans. We
therefore added new cabinets and a counter in the
corner that used to be the home of William’s toys. He now
plays in the middle of the room.

January
31st and we finally got some snow. This is just the beginning. That
was a birdbath in the center. Not bad for one night.

February
19th and it’s finally warm enough to make a snowman. William still
isn’t too sure about sleds, and he doesn’t like being stuck in
the
snow at all. He knows better than to get out of the sled; he’d be up to his
waist.

We
figured our skiing time was close to an end this year, so we went to Potato
Creek for a last excursion. Whenever
William
saw a hill approaching, he would say “UP”, and whenever the slope dropped away,
he would say “DOWN”.
Later
in the day he got so into it that on the bigger hills he would say
“Weeeeeeeee!” on the way down. It’s funny that
he can
enjoy going down hills on John’s back when he isn’t too happy about going down
them on a sled. We’re glad
that
he likes skiing.
