Molecular Biophysics Using NMR Spectroscopy

• We work at the interface of the physical and biological sciences to illuminate the role of protein and ligand conformational dynamics
  in biomolecular recognition and evolution.
  

• Our main approach is multi-dimensional Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). This includes applications and methods development.
  

• We seek a fundamental understanding of signal transduction that recognizes structural ensembles and dynamics. This is relevant for gaining insight
  into the evolution of protein-protein interaction networks, as well as drug design.
  

• We adopt an inter-disciplinary approach, and complement our NMR studies with computational chemistry, protein biochemistry,
  and collaborations with groups focused on theory and bio-organic chemistry.
