Dear students, Just a quick note to inform you about web enrollment: If students abroad have access to a web enabled computer, they are welcome to complete web enrollment at https://www2.nd.edu/irishlink/. In fact, the Registrar's Office strongly encourages it. For those students that have not used the web enrollment feature, the Registrar's Office will take care of them later, but would really encourage the use of web enrollment as it makes students more in charge of their information. By completing this enrollment process you are informing the University of your intent to pursue classes for which you have registered. In addition, the enrollment process allows verification of attendance for loan deferments, insurance purposes, scholarships and allows financial aid awards to be disbursed. Thanks! Carmen
Dear Students, I'm writing today about Web Registration (aka DART) for Fall 2003. The Schedule of Classes will be on Irish Link as of March 18. We will send out hard copies of the Schedule on March 21, and they should arrive at the SUNDEF office around March 25. But please be aware that the Schedule on the web will be the most up-to-date, with cancelled and added classes. We will also include a letter of instructions (I have attached a copy) and course descriptions from academic departments, as available. In the package we will also include your WebReg appointments and PINs which will enable you to register for classes from Angers. F'03 seniors will register on the first day of F'03 senior registration -- April 9 -- fall 03 juniors on first day of junior registration -- April 14. Your appointments will be scheduled between 8- 9:30 AM, Notre Dame time (3-4:30 PM Angers time) and you can use any computer available at that time. The SUNDEF computers will be reserved for that use. Current sophomores: students have found that they prefer to register themselves for classes for the upcoming semester. However, if you feel that you cannot do so because of travels, please inform Professor Douthwaite, and we can input your course choices for you. In that case you must submit your ISP Registration worksheet to Professor Douthwaite by April 2. I will include a stack of them in the package we will send to SUNDEF. This process has gone very smoothly in the past. Just be sure that you have obtained authorization numbers for any permission required courses before your appointment. If you have trouble inputting a course for which you have received an exemption (e.g. you are an AL student with permission for a BA course, or you have permission for a course for which you do not have the pre-reqs ), you can contact me. Good luck with WebReg, and enjoy the rest of your semester la belle France. Sincerely, Claudia Kselman Claudia Kselman, Ph.D. International Study Programs 158 Hurley Bldg.
