Collaborative applications

All of these projects are collaborations with scientists in the areas of interest. However, this will leverage a considerable investment in recruitment and training of computational scientists. For example, the PI supervises two biologists, a chemist and a mathematician who are now pursuing graduate studies in computer science. These projects will follow appropriate simulation and analysis protocols. Experience from these projects will also serve to make the programs and algorithms more useful to the scientific community. Funding is not being requested for these subprojects, but they are included here due to their intimate connection to the application of methods and software produced by this grant.
