Use the form below to search the inventory-catalogue of Ambrosiana drawings according to selected criteria. The database currently contains all 8,325 descriptive records and images of 8,244 drawings (last updated 09/21/2011).
For a brief description of the contents of the various search fields, click on the corresponding field labels in the left column. Note that the "Artist" and "Subject Keys" fields have links to pop-up lists at the right, which can be used to browse the full set of terms associated with each field. One can then select any number of terms from the pop-up list to have them entered directly in the search form.
