R C Sweetman Reading Room
With the work of R. C. Sweetman Librarian, Tara Macleod, the R. C. Sweetman Reading Room has enjoyed another productive year and added new books, CDs, instructional tapes, and subscriptions. Faculty and students continue to draw heavily on these resources. One new effort is to build our Field Day collection, beginning with collecting all works published by Professor Seamus Deane. The R. C. Sweetman Reading Room continues to receive Foinse, the national Irish language newspaper, and The Irish Times in addition to domestic newspapers, all of which are used on a daily basis by students and faculty like.
As in past years, the experience of students and faculty alike has been significantly enhanced by the Richard C. Sweetman Family Fund. Everything we do starts with students. As the R. C. Sweetman Fund continues to grow, we look forward to be able to do even more for them.
