Sean O'Brien is the Student Advisor and Program Coordinator for the Keough-Naughton Institute. Educated at Xavier University and the University of Notre Dame, his scholarly work deals with Irish prison writing. Sean's present project examines nineteenth-century critiques of the Victorian penitentiary and he is currently editing a critical edition of Tom Clarke's Glimpses of an Irish Felon's Prison Life. In the 2005-2006 school year, he will teach the courses "Culture and Politics in Northern Ireland" and "Irish Prison Literature."
