Dear students,
colleagues, and parents,
I am writing
to inform you that the Notre Dame student ski trip to Kirchberg,
Austria, has been definitively cancelled, because of overwhelming
opposition based on security and liability issues. The university
has been informally helping organize this trip over the years, through
the good graces of our on-site director in Innsbruck. We ask that
Prof. Guertler discontinue that practice, and that students accept
the position of our university as regards this event. Please be
assured that the subject was discussed at great length and that
this decision was made with regret, but for the well-being of all
concerned. Thank you for your understanding. |
