Papers from the Workshops

A few participants in previous workshops have allowed us to mount papers on this web page. In all cases, these papers have been presented at one of the workshops. Each paper remains the intellectual property of the author. As some of these presentations are not full-length papers, nor have they been prepared for publication, they should not be cited without the authors permission

Jorge Bartolucci, 'The Awakening of Modern Astrophysics in Mexico and The Harvard College Observatory: Mexican-American International Affairs During the Second World War'

Dana A. Freiburger, "John Thompson, English Philomath- A Question of Land Surveying and Astronomy"

Uwe Glessmer, "Knowledge of Calendars through the Library of Qumran," and "Enoch 72"

Helge Kragh, 'The Construction of Cosmology as a Physical Science: Realities and Myths'

Keith Pickering, "The Ancient Star Catalog: A Question of Authorship"

Marc Rothenberg: 'National History: Understanding Education and Patronage in the 19th Century'

Christopher S. Turner: 'Prehistoric Native American Calendrical-Monumental Architecture in Ohio: Chronology, Form, and Motive'

If you gave a paper at a previous workshop, and would be interested in adding to our archive, please contact Matt Dowd. In addition, if any papers given at past workshops have since been published, we would like to add citations to our site. Again, please contact Matt Dowd with any information you wish to share.
