This website was established to facilitate research by a collection of biologists, economists, legal scholars, natural resource managers, and ethicists who are collaborating to assess "managed relocation" (aka "assisted migration").

The webpage also is a clearing house for publications related to managed relocation, including products of the working group.

Viewers of this webpage are invited to email the working group organizers (see right) with comments and suggestions.  The working group is particularly interested in ideas that the scientific and policy community thinks should be investigated regarding managed relocation/assisted migration.

The working group is funded by the National Science Foundation (DEB) and the Cedar Tree Foundation.  The content on this page, however, does not in any way represent the opinion of these organizations.  

The group will meet on three occasions:
