Founded in 1988, the Notre Dame Handbell Choir is made up of 15 members ringing four octaves of English-style handbells. We are a primarily undergraduate group, coming from all different academic and musical backgrounds to join together to make our beautiful and unique sound.

Notre Dame Handbell Choir Mission Statement:
We come together from diverse backgrounds to utilize our talents, to enjoy fellowship with one another, and to build a community centered in our Christian faith. As a choir, we spread joy and peace through our music-making. We are unique, representing a different and wonderful type of music ministry. We develop our musical skills and ability to work with each other as team players. We hope to be a presence in the liturgical community on campus, to create a strong choir so that we can effectively minister to our ND family, and to inspire and enkindle spirituality in all who hear us.
Our typical schedule includes:
•Regularly scheduled Basilica liturgies (year-round)
•Sunday Vespers
•Advent Lessons and Carols
•Junior Parents' Weekend
•Spring Tour
•Spring Concert
