Committees
As a member of Habitat, you can get involved with the committees listed below. For more information, please contact the committee representative.
Education and Outreach
We educate the Notre Dame community about Habitat for Humanity and bring awareness to the problems of homelessness and poverty housing, as well as providing information on how each person can make a difference. The committee attempts to do this through the creation of educational materials and projects such as Shack City, high school outreach, brochures, campus speakers, and visuals. We also strive to partner with other relevant campus groups in order to promote further education and awareness. There's still time to get involved!

Family Liaison
The family liaison committee serves as a link between the club and the Habitat partner family. We coordinate activities with our family throughout the year; past activities have included dedication ceremonies, movies, christmas parties, and opening masses. Get to know the family with whom we work! If interested in getting involved with this, Contact: Deborah Olmstead
Construction
The Construction committee is for volunteers with experience who would like to committ a considerable amount of time to building at the site throughout the year. Committee members are responsible for leading smaller groups at the house while under the supervision of the Construction Chair. Please note, you do not need to be a member of the construction committee to participate in building work shifts. This committee is designed to designate leaders with experience at the site. If you are experienced and interested in learing more about how you can help lead groups in particular projects please contact the Construction Chair. Contact: Michael Baznik
