This contract between ______________________, herein designated as Teacher, and XXX High School of Somecity, herein designated as School.
 

1. The Teacher agrees to perform the duties of a teacher at XXX High School for the school year of XXX-XXX, commencing ________________ and ending ________________. For services rendered the School agrees to pay the Teacher the sum of $________________ distributed as follows:

 2. Benefits are provided the Teacher as listed on Attachment A of the Employment Policies. Teachers electing not to participate in one or several of these benefits will so note in the comment section below.

 3. The principal responsibilities of the Teacher are:
 
 

Five Religious Studies Classes
Yearbook Moderator
Campus Ministry Assistant

4. The Teacher agrees to observe the policies and regulations of XXX High School as stated in the Employment Policies, Policies of the Board of Directors, and the Personnel Handbook.

 5. The Principal may terminate this contract before the indicated date, pursuant to Section I, Article 10, of the Employment Policies. In the case of continuing status employees, should the Principal intend such an early termination, the procedure shall be as follows:

a. Personal discussion between the Principal and Teacher as to the reasons for the termination.

 

 

b. If the Teacher is unwilling to accept the Principal's reasons after this discussion, then:

 

 

1. The Principal will submit a written report in person to the Board of Directors. A copy of the report shall be provided to the Teacher.

 

 

2. The Teacher may appear before the Board of Directors and give the Teacher's explanation. A request for such appearance shall be made not later than thirty (30) calendar days from the receipt of the report by the Teacher.

 

3. The decision of the Board shall be final.

6. The Teacher will be notified in writing not later than March 15th whether his/her contract will be renewed for the following year. A Teacher's contract will be renewed pursuant to Sections I and IV of the Employment Policies.
