Description: A multimedia course in Hebrew for the beginner. This software was created by Dr. Danny Ben-Gigi, former head of Hebrew Programs at Arizona State University. It is based on materials used for over a decade teaching thousands how to read, write, and speak the Hebrew language. According to Bridgestone, this software is "sophisticated enough for the US Embassy staff in Tel Aviv, yet so user-friendly that students at home can comprehend and learn Hebrew quickly and easily." Covers basic topics, including the Bible, the clock, speaking, and writing. Differences between Modern and Biblical Hebrew are discussed. A Testing section measures your progress. The Scenes section includes photos of various locations in Israel.

Includes Logos Bible, video, music, sound recognition technology, complete testing, exercises, as well as linked reference resources (Logos Bible Software, concordances, glossaries, grammars, indexes, lexicons, parsing guides, and word studies). Can be used in both as a sequential course of study limited to one's progress through the lessons, or as a reference library. user on the order of the Hebrew alphabet, vocabulary lists,
grammatical paradigms, and the choice of Hebrew to English or vice versa. The questions are based on Thomas O. Lambdin's Introduction to Biblical Hebrew (NY: Scribner, 1971).
