I am an associate professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering
at the University of NotreDame
My research is conducted in the Notre Dame Tissue Mechanics Laboratory. Research areas include damage mechanics of trabecular bone, lumbar spinal fusion, hard and soft tissue constitutive modeling and computational mechanics, and genetic factors affecting bone quality.
See the laboratory web page for information on on-going research, and opportunities to work in the Tissue Mechanics Laboratory.
The department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering has established a research group in the field of biomechanics. If you are interested in studying in any field of biomechanics at Notre Dame, contact me.
