| Tutorials: | The tutorials are designed to supplement the lecture and to provide support and a collaborative learning environment that will help you understand the material. They are very important, and your attendance at the tutorials is an expected part of this class. During tutorial, we will go over new problems as a group and then a take-home quiz will be handed out which will be due the following day during class. The best way to understand the material in this class is to attend lectures regularly, and to make an honest (and sometimes painful) effort on each of the problems in your homework. Do not discuss a problem with others until you have spent at least 20 minutes working at the problem on your own. Do not copy or paraphrase any one else's work (including the solution manual).
