Welcome to the Genomics Core Facility
We provide DNA fragment length analysis, high-throughput next generation and traditional Sanger sequencing, as well as Affymetrix, NimbleGen and custom-printed microarray services. Consultation with Genomics Core personnel is necessary before any microarray or 454 sequencing services will be provided. PIs submitting grants that will incorporate genomics work through the core facility are strongly encouraged to speak with John to discuss experiments and obtain a letter of support. The Genomics Core Facility is an approved Indiana CTSI core facility. Our policies for collaborative core users are available here.
Check the calendar to see when facility personnel are occupied.
We are also closely associated with the Notre Dame Bioinformatics Core Facility and can assist users interested in taking advantage of the bioinformatics and computing expertise they provide.
Rory, the bioinformatics core technician, is available for assistance with custom bioinformatics and sequencing data analysis.
Erliang, the bioinformatics core managing director, is available for assistance with microarray data analysis.
Email them to schedule a meeting time if you would like to speak with them:
Rory - rcarmich@nd.edu
Erliang - ezeng@nd.edu
The bioinformatics core has a wiki online as a place to gather feedback and suggestions (you'll need to load their security certificate or add a security exception to use the site).
Email Rory if you'd like to learn how to use this.
