Location and Transportation
The conference will be hosted by the University of Notre Dame and will take place in the auditorium of the Center for Continuin Education. South Bend can be reached by plane to the following airports:
Michiana Regional Airport at South Bend (SBN)
Chicago O-Hare International Airport (ORD)
Chicago Midway (MDW)
Taxi service is available from the South Bend Airport to the Center for Continuing Education on the Univeristy of Notre Dame Campus for currently $7-$10. United Limo Bus service is available on a regular schedule from both Chicago airports directly to the Univeristy of Notre Dame. The bus stop is a very short walking distance to the Morris Inn, the dormitory, and the conference center. Currect fares at $28. Train service is available (Amtrak and South Shore Railroad) with direct service to and from Chicago. Taxi service is abailable from the Amtrak Station to Notre Dame. The South Shore Railroad station is located at the South Bend Airport.
Registration and Accomodation
Registration and accomodation is handled by the Center for Continuing Education. Please refer to the enclosed registration and housing form for information regarding hotels and dormitory rooms. The registration fee for the Workshop on Applications of High-Precision gamma-Spectroscopy is $100.00, payable by VISA, MasterCard, or check drawn on US funds.
