About Us

Fresh Writing, sponsored by the University Writing Program at the University of Notre Dame, is a journal of outstanding student writing produced in First-Year Composition at Notre Dame.  Instructors nominate student writers for publication and a panel reviews those nominations to make a final selection. 

All students in First-Year Composition purchase this journal in order to read successful models of writing from their peers.
